Why are these people cheering? Because they’re getting ready to jump start their Thanksgiving Day by trotting
14th Annual STICK WITH IT FITNESS
Before-you-eat-a-lot Turkey Trot
Benefiting Autism Speaks!
aka: The Turkey Trot for Cool People.
Compared to last year’s weather, the 34 degree Start Time temperature felt downright tropical and kept trotters as well as their fans “toasty” while enjoying the post-race festivities at North Park’s Rose Barn.
This year we were so pleased to see an increase in the numbers of families running and walking the race with participants of all ages! Looks like this little one was doing a pre-run stretch!
And most importantly, the event surpassed last year by raising $12,000 for autism research, taking SWIF’s fundraising totals to over $120,000 since its founding.
Winners of the 4.4 mile race that looped around the lake at North Park, were:Top Male Finisher: Tod Herchenroether — 27:57!
Top Female Finisher: Tena Pettit — 33:29!

Other highlights of the event, besides the always popular keep-them-coming-back bloody Marys and festive beer selection, were the two raffles where the prizes were: Penguins Tickets and Steelers Tickets/Big Ben autographed football.
Al Eiler and Sue Seiff want to thank the trotters, the fans and the very generous company co-sponsors whose support makes the event possible.
